Mastectomy but not full clearance

Hi, I was just looking for some advice or others experience of the same or similar pathology results.

My mastectomy was on 18/12 with implant reconstruction & nipple saved. I had 2 tumours with the larger one being far back, so against the chest bone. The pathology results are:

Upper outer quadrant 23mm, grade 2 ILC with ER8, PR8, HER1+ negative.

Upper inner quadrant 13mm, grade 2, invasion ductal with associated DCIS, ER8, PR8, HER2 negative.

3 lymph nodes removed & all clear.

Full clearance was not obtained and no additional surgery can be carried out. I now await the score results from the oncotype DX before discussing treatment.

I have always had concerns re clearance as I saw the image & position of the tumour so it hasn’t really come as a shock. Although the lymph nodes are clear, naturally I’m concerned if it may of affected my chest bone.

Has anyone else had a similar pathology result & what has been your experience?
