just a note to all out thee that Relate has teamed up with mcmillan centres(apparently funding is available for the next 3 years). I decieded to access this myself as both me and hubby are struggling with cancer issues and in particular changes in my outlook(also bedroom dept) i rang and got an app the following week. When i asked the counceller she said that clearly there is a need out there and access should be relatively quick, i believe the councellers are trained regarding BC.

That is really good news. There have been quite a few posters here with very difficult family issues - lets hope some of them are able to access this service.

hi tors yes ripples is a good description, if anyone would have told me how i would be feeling(even tho ive got the best prognosis anyone could have)i would never have believe them!!! macmillan have been brill and this is a bonus you get 10 sessions(which should be £50)free.

thanks for metioning this. i have just gone through a horrendous time in our relationship and decided to go to relate together. I asked them about the funding through macmillan and we are starting sessions next week. Hope it can help sort us out one way or another.
