Hi there I’m new to this site …well I’m sure I joined the old 1 …any ways I was first diagnosed in Dec 2001 had a mastectomy left breast …had 6mnths of chemo …and done radiation therapy …I was on to tamoxifen for 5 years …I was good for another 7 years the I decided to go for reconstructive surgery …had my reconstructive surgery …in October 2007 …then in September 2008 …I was diagnosed again I had b/c in my right breast this time …I had to have an other mastectomy of my right breast …also reconstructive at the same time …good thing I did not have to have chemo …or radio …as they caught it in time …and a few months ago 2016 I had a swollen hand they said it was lymphedema …but the swelling went down …now I have found a lump in my reconstructive breast left side …just waiting on doc appointment …and breast nurses getting back to me. Ruby
Hi Ruby, you have certainly had your fair share of this blooming **** haven’t you !!!Latest lump may be nothing to do with breast cancer at all,it’s a lot less likely after a mastectomy ,keeping everything crossed for you .Jill.
