Hi Dear!
I am just starting on this forum and I would like to know something about the English medical corps and law.
I am diagnosed with breast cancer (Grade 2;HER negative:Invasive Ductual Carcinoma)
My surgery (lumpectomy) was 5 weeks ago and I can not recover, my breast in inflammation and this happened with my armpit also. The medical team did not use drain-pipe and the pent-up fluid did a serious inflammation. I use the third box Co-Amoxiclav, but this is absolutly resistent for the medicine, nothing change.
In this 5 weeks they drained the fluid twice from my breast and once from my armpit.
I could not start the radiotherapy, I take gratuitous pain, I lose my money, I can go back to work later.
When I asked them, they told me that they use the drain-pipa with lumpectomy and I am simply unlucky. Never told me this a doctor in my life!!!
I asked the doctor please do for me blood test, because it is an inflammation in my body, I lose my hair, this is the third box medicine and I had leukopeny. He told me he does not do it, because it is not reasonable and “lot of money”(???).
I need any support, what can I do now? Is it a medical malpractice?
Can I get any compensation by law? It is University Hospital. Is it possible that my surgery was doing by a practitioner?
I am not happy with this medical team and I need your advice can I do something or not ?
Thank you for all your help and all best for everybody!
Catrine
