Thanks for remembering me! The day of the chemo was terrifying…the nurses were so wonderful but of course I was crying like a baby…it took about an hour just to get the cannula in and the steroids/anti sickness meds…let alone the chemo itself! Anyway…an hour and a bit later it was all over…phew!! Went home feeling a bit sicky and the next couple of days under the weather with flu type symptoms. I have been much more tired than normal though. Spending a lot of time catching an hours sleep on the sofa in the afternoon! But no more than that really. I must admit pregnancy sickness was far worse! Just keeping my fingers crossed #2 is ok - I’ve heard the symptons can be worse! Decided against the cold cap, bought another wig instead! Haven’t lost any hair yet though…not sure when it should start falling out - I had my treatment 11 days ago.
