Hi Ali
Hope your first Tax has gone ok, and you are not suffering. As you know joining you in just under 3 weeks, so any tips gratefully received.
Let us know how you are.
All the best and take care
Lots of love

Well - thanks girls. Had a nightmare chemo day yesterday…
Was at Hosp from 9am and got home at 2.30pm…
First they had to re-do my blood test as the one from the GP didn’t have all the FBC results. Took 5 attempts to get a cannula in, as my veins are shot to hell from FEC.
Then I had to wait for the Taxotere to be made up (that takes an hour) and as it is soooo expensive they won’t make it up until your bloods are OK. Then I waited for a chair to be free - they were really busy by the time I got back an hour later. Got settled and then they announce the pharmacy are having to make a new batch for me as they found a ‘foreign body’ in the bag…god knows what that was!!! Another 30 mins.
By the time they started I just burst into tears - I think it was the stress of the unknown Taxotere all week and then all the waiting around - I just lost the plot!!!
Anyway the good news is that today I feel perfectly normal - prob steroids doing the biz, but I have been on a ‘Day out with Thomas the Tank Engine’ with hubby, kids and grandparents…so I’m either delirious, insane or something.
I suspect the dreaded side effects will catch up with me another time, I s’pose it maybe a cumulative thing - and will prob hit me when I have the least people around too…
Anyway - hope you are all OK, and thanks for the support.
Love and hugs
Ali
