message for dilly hi dilly
was interested in your info about parabens looked at links and agree they need to be avoided if poss. also a nurse friend of mine has advised avoiding sodium lauryl sulphate another nasty foaming agent. there seem to be plenty of companies on the internet who supply organic toiletries etc have you used any organic alternatives and do you have any that you can recommend?
thanks

Elaine glad you’re avoiding parabens. I don’t use organic- too expensive- or any particular brand- just read labels. Pantene shampoo OK.
Don’t know if these have been improved recently but Johnson’s Baby and Nivea both FULL of parabens last time I checked.
IF customers stop buying prods containing parabens we’ll soon see the shelves fill with P free. NB Ps have quite a lot of aliases- so we should all be chemists with elephantine memories!
What’s more we need magnifying glasses to read ingredients- just another foozle! dilly
stuff without parabens Elaine
Green People’s products don’t have any parabens or other nasties; have to admit their stuff isn’t cheap but it is worth it
You can also buy some Green People products in Sainsburys.
I’ve recently been given some shampoo, conditioner and body lotion from The Purist Company, and they’re gorgeous. Again no parabens or other suspect ingredients. Don’t know where you can get them other than on their website
Both these makes thoroughly recommended.
