message for findingnemo Hi Rachel!

How are things going? Have you taken any further action yet about getting an ultrasound? I’ve been thinking about you and wondering what you decided to do.

Loads of love and cyberhugs from P. xx

last messages lost - like Dorey on Nemo- Hi Philomena,

I hope you got my last post & hope you found a DVD for your grandson  Nemo or not ,you will both love it

I think the upgrade to the website has wiped out our last responses…
but remember -

‘all drains lead to the Ocean’ :))

‘Dorey’ “Where’s the Ocean”?

Confirmation! Hi Rachel

So glad you posted - I’d thought it was my computer playing up when the post disappeared like that. It was so weird the way half the messages stayed put. And yes I think I got all your messages before it went on the blink because your new one to me made perfect sense (if you are a mad person and spend most of your life occupied with Nemo and Dorey…)

I’ve had a horrible day - Mom passed away in her sleep last night and although I’m relieved she’s no longer suffering and we’ve known for weeks that this was coming, it’s still been a shock and I’m operating under remote control doing all kinds of really bizaare things. Now it seems that we all have to go to her rented house tomorrow to clear out her things ready for the new occupants. Such haste seems a bit indecent to me.

It’s great to have access to this forum at a time like this because it helps me to get things into perspective as well as giving me lots of other things to focus on - and other people ---------

How are you doing? You probably missed my too-rapidly erased post asking you when your appointment was to get your private ultrasound done? That sounds really odd put like that, private ultrasound - tho I can assure you that some ultrasounds are less private than they ought to be. When I lived in France and had to go for an ultrasound they showed me to a cubicle, told me to strip off and when I was ready to open the door at the other side of the cubicle and lie down on the couch.

I expected there to be some sort of modesty covering provided but there wasn’t, so I lay half-naked on the couch and a door opened and in came a male medic. He said Bonjour and passed through and out another door. There were three other males passed through before the doctor arrived to do the ultrasound and countless others while it was in progress.

I remarked on this lack of privacy afterwards to a French friend “What did you expect?” she laughed. “This is France and you are a woman with a big chest…!”

Anyway, I hope you get your privacy and your ultrasound…

For Philomena Philomena,

I am so sorry to hear about you losing your Mum.

And to read your posts today, all concerned for Rachel, Cathy etc. when you have so much going on in your own life right now.

You’re in my thoughts as I go to bed tonight.
Extra big Cyberhugs and Love

Take Care,

Huge hugs Philomena Hi Philomena,

I am so glad to read you got a big Rainbow hug before you got to bed last night, I was ZZZzzz by then ,I had to get up early for work .

So Sorry to hear about your mum , I had read posts previously when you had written about your mum , huge cyberhugs today for you darling, I know it will be a difficult day ,but if you need a smile or a rainbow , come back to us.

Seems a bit insignifanct, telling you about my plans now ,but if it takes your mind of what’s going to happen today then I don’t mind telling you…
The last post I sent before they upgraded the website said … The private place I found for ultrasound ,is one of those 3 stop shops. where they do all three tests, if needed, but like you said , I was sent for an ultrasound on the NHS and didn’t get one, so I should go back there first. I wouldn’t bother as much if I wasn’t back to square one!
I put in my last message , that if I had a headache, then my head is telling me something isn’t right, ie: a cold. Too much pc work …etc… This unusual pain I have in my breast seems to be telling me the same thing – ‘something isn’t right, get it checked out!’
3rd time back at the Dr’s , I may get some answers … I will go at the beginning of the new year.

I will be thinking of you today

lots of love
Rachel xx

Hi Rachel Long time no speak Rachel!

You’re right to listen to your body I’m sure - if something doesn’t feel right it really is best to get it checked (and checked and checked!) until you’ve got a satisfactory answer you’re happy with or a plan of action on how to deal with it…

Either way, hope it doesn’t affect your Christmas…

Here’s another Rainbow Hug just for you, cos baby, it’s COLD outside!!

Love and colourful rainbows for ya darlin
