Thanks for thinking of me!
I came out yesterday, still have two drains in and under the district nurse, she came out today & said both drains should be out by Tuesday!!!
Must admit feeling ok, not what i expected, i thought i would be emotionally all over the place. I am very bruised & sore, but feeling very posiitive. Got my softies, i picked the wieghted ones as they look more natural for my size (only aloud one set though!) don’t know why, i think they are more expensive.
Had to kick hubby out of bed though as both my drains are on different sides, so he is on the spare bed (ha,ha).
Next stop results on Thursday at clinic, fingers crossed everything will be ok & i can start my chemo in a couple of weeks.
How are you doing? how are you filling your time these days? or are you just taking a long well deserved rest?

Glad your feeling ok, i was suprised at how little pain i had after surgery, just felt uncomfortable, my arm gave me more trouble though!!

I had the weighted ones too, i thought they looked more natural under clothes than the soft ones. ( I was only allowed one as well).

My fingers are crossed for you too for Thursday, my chemo started about 5 weeks after surgery, i had Fec.

I’m feeling really well and really positive, not got time to worry about my self now, we’ve had a puppy Labrador, been up since 6.05, she goes to sleep about 9 at night and wakes about 6.00 in the morning, would be ok if i went to bed then, tried keeping her awake at night but it doesnt make any difference, she’s nearly house trained so were getting there! Its like having a baby again! Have you any children???

Did you meet anyone in hospital?? i did and i dont think i’d have got through it as well as i have if i hadnt!!
