Looking for previous posting threads about metformin as treatment for breast cancer. Does anyone know of it being used in combination with doxorubicin?

I don’t know the answer to your question about the combination of drugs, but there have been several discussions about Metformin here - this is one of the more recent ones:

The trials on Metformin and cancer are pretty recent, but the drug has been used for a long time for diabetics and the se’s are well known and mild, and I was under the impression it could be used alongside most cancer drugs.
