Just had my mri to see what the other breast is up to. 3 weeks post mastectomy. No-one warned me I would need to lie on my front for it! Really uncomfortable, and I’m sure it took twice as long as expected. The actual scar was fine, I just hate hard pressure on my breast-bone, makes me feel I can’t breathe. Still, that’s it over. CT on Thurs.
Poor you Pastasmissus, MRI’s are unpleasant at the best of times, without the added discomfort. At least it is now over and the CT on Thursday will be a walk in the park! Take care xx

I had an MRI too 3 weeks ago… Altho, mine was before any operations, jeez… Horrendous!
I actually said to my BC nurse that we should have been warned!

CT scan is a walk in the park compared to MRI - very quick - very open compared to MRI - out in 10 mins .Good luck ?.
CT so easy! Lying on back, in clothes, over in 5 mins and that was with injection of dye!
Yes… The CT was fine…apart from my dodgy veins… 3 goes to get the needle in and a mahoooosive bruise to prove it! ??
