I came home tonight to find my appointment for a Muga scan.
Sounds quite frightening.
I don’t think it hurts but I know it’s the next step closer to me starting chemotherapy.
I had one, it’s ok just an injection to put some dye in, then wait 45 mins and then under an X-ray type machine for about 10 mins. You don’t get the results there and then my oncologist told me next time I went into clinic.
I was a bit worried about it but I actually found it quite relaxing, are you having herceptin? They just like to check your heart if you are, mine was fine by the way! Emma
