My lovely niece and BreastCancerCare

Hi everybody,
Just wanted to share about my lovely niece:
I started chemotherapy last week and decided to get my long blonde hair (it has been long and blonde since I was about three!!) cut off and I donated to The Little Princess Trust where they use real hair donations to make wigs for children that have lost their hair due to cancer and other illnesses.
My lovely niece, who has even longer hair than me, almost down to her waist, has decided to cut hers off and donate it too and on top of this, she is being sponsered by friends and family to do it with an aim to raise £1000 for BreastCancerCare.
She started her JustGiving page last night and has already raised over £300.
I am so proud of her for doing this and very touched by the people that have already donated.
I chose the charity with her as I have already had so much help from BreastCancerCare, especially from going to one of their Younger Womens Forums and we wanted to give something back.
Anyway, just wanted to share that

Hi blue rose I also had my long blonde hair cut off last thurs. Never had short hair in my life. It too was put into a plait and is being donated to the little princess trust and am currently trying to raise donations. It was my way of giving a bit back. But well done to your niece and you. What a team you make!! :slight_smile: xx
