When I was diagnosed in January 2008 our Ruby wedding anniversary was one of the milestones I wondered if I would reach, well thats this week-end and I feel absolutely fantastic.
Our children are throwing a big party for us on Saturday night, no presents though we’ve asked for donations for Breast Cancer Care and who needs present when today I’ve been to the hospital and been given the best gift of all the news my annual mammogram was again clear. All I can say is roll on Saturday LET’S PARTY!!!

Hi everyone
The party on Saturday was absolutely brilliant, finally got to bed at 3am. It also gave me the chance to thank my family and friends for their kindness during my treatment, lumpectomy, chemo, radio and herseptin(only 12 though really affected my heart) now just on arimidex and as I said before now feel fantastic.
Everyone was so generous too and the total we received for Breast Cancer Care was £540.
Thank you for all your lovely comments and congratulations and I hope everything is going as well for you all as it is for me.

congrats, Grandma pat on raising that much money. I think I will be at the same stage as you when I celebrate our Ruby in just over 2 years time. will do the same as you and ask for donations.
