My mom had breast cancer 4 years ago. She had the lumpectomy, 1 week radiation and is on Tamoxifen, 1 more year to go!
. Last January 2017 she had something, ended up in hospital with her red blood count bottomed out. The doctors could not find where she was losing blood. She had a colonoscopy and Endoscopy and nothing showed. Her red counts were coming up so the doctors did nothing
.
May 2017, she went back to the doctor and her red counts were still off. Not by much, but were still low. Everything else was good, just the red counts. Her cancer doctor has drawn new bloods yesterday.
Her only other symptom is being fatigued, which makes her not feel well. She’s terrified of this being leukemia! Anything I can do to reassure her?
