I needed to put something over the nails so that I could actually do things - washing, cleaning, ironing whatever. The plasters protected them from touching with the senssitive tips but just the plasters alone kept peeling off. So my solution was to wrap them round with masking tape at the bottom - on the finger not the nail. Looked ridiculous but gave me a bit of relief! Not an ideal solution I know. I did buy some plastic finger stalls from a pharmacist but the plastic itself was an irritation!
It’s a right nuisance isn’t it? It gets very little mention anywhere. I’m going to find a chiropodist who understands chemo nails to try and sort out my poor toes. I want them numbing first!
