Hi, My Mum passed away with breast cancer at the age of 59years old, 12 years ago. At this time i went to my GP and she told me to come back to them when i am 44years old to arrange yearly checks as a preventive against breast cancer, i was 44years old three months ago and still havent been i feel like i will be wasting their time and they will tell to wait till i am fifty anyway, although it would be nice to be checked and not to worry!
