I was diagnosed in 2005, had WLE, node clearance, chemo and rads. I’ve since been told that I have BRCA1 gene. I have decided to have risk reducing mastectomy and reconstruction.
I’ve been told that my options are limited (I have a very small build) - I can have LD flap with implant or if I want to go bigger (I’m small chested) have an expander implant and I’m torn between the two.
I’ve always wanted to be bigger but don’t know if I want the extra op etc which would come with the expander.
Any comments/help would be appreciated.
