Not sure about how to pick up private message or even if I sent it correctly, I’ll try again. Who’s your surgeon? I have all my tmt at Clinico, my Surgeon was Dra Soler, a fantastic lady, I hope you are with her. I am now under the care of Dra Marquesa the oncologist, I presume you will be referered on to her after surgery. I cant remember exact timescales now, I started chemo a few weeks after surgery. The only advice I would give at the moment is try to take each day at a time and not try to run ahead too much, I know that’s easier said than done. Unfortunately I cant meet you in the next couple of weeks as I am going away but I will as soon as I get back. Will try send the messager again.

back to your questions about surgery, mine was done pretty quickly, they will send you for chest xrays, blood tests (mine were done a day before I think). On the morning of the op I had to go to the Xanit hospital in Benelmadena for a PET scan where they inject a dye into your nipple. I had to pay for that as there is no PET scanner in a social seurity hospital in the area yet. I was more terrified of that than the op but it turned out to be nothing much, not anything like as horrible as it sounds honestly!!! This showed up that I had secondaries in the nodes. Have you already had this done as you mention they already know about you lymph nodes? Even though I am going away I will still have internet acces so keep in touch.
