Nervous about lump

Have I got breast cancer? Appointments and waiting for test results

I’m only 22 years old and I’ve been breastfeeding for 5 months. I noticed a lump 2 days ago. I’m freaking out because it doesn’t move and i have no pain. The doctor has refer me to the breast clinic just waiting for the letter. Just looking for some reassurance.

Hi Rebekah,

There’s no reason why it should be anything serious, but only the breast clinic can sort it out, so you’ve done all you need to for now.  

Try not to dwell on it & just carry on as usual until the appointment, the normal outcome is that all’s well anyway.
