Hi have only just dropped in, I am going in this week for another biopsy. I was wondering if anyone could help me with a query. I am 54 and am a retired midwife.

I have on Thursday noticed well you could hardly miss it a large dilated blue vein on the side of the breast they are going to biopsy. It is like a large squiggly line ending at the nipped area. I don’t even have veins on my legs and nothing anywhere else. The breast and nipped area are very sore. Is this common can’t find any info on veins anywhere. Thank you for being out there xx
Thank you it is a bit strange. I had a nipple biopsy and then a couple of years later a biopsy of the skin as I had a strange rash just above the nipple area, both were negative. For the past months I have been having quite a lot of pain and my original consultant wants to do another biopsy. I presume it must be a deeper one as I am in over night and having a general this time. Time will tell but she is thorough so we will know more after Wednesday as long as they have a bed for me lol xx
