Sorry for being quiet, I don’t come on here much these days and I was having second thoughts about the meet up as so many drop out at the last minute which is tricky when you book things. However it was lovely to come onto this thread and see some newbies. Well actually it was not nice for you to have to join us in this way but you know what I mean. I was going to suggest a different meeting place this time although i know cafe rouge have always been very good about letting us book and then not minding if we are less in number.
As I dont think many will be coming on the train what about meeting at the new Liverpool 1. There are numerous eating places there I am sure we wil find somewhere. I wont book anything incase folk can’t make it on the day.
So 1pm outside the cinema in Liverpool one, its on the same level as all the eating places.
Would be good if people could come on hee say Fri and say if they are coming.

Not sure why but there is no Liverpool thread on here and there was coz I visited it recently.
Don’t know if you have heard, but Liz (buzylizzie) lost her battle with this crap illness on 28th May. Her sister has PM’d me and I have a contact number which I will ring (too late now). I am sure you will all like to pass on messages, her sister is a member on here, jowalsh. I am sure she would appreciate your wonderful support. So sad, she leaves 3 children, a lovely family, her legacy lives on, that lovely gentle manner she had, they have too.
On the meet up note. I can’t do 13th as have to babysit. Enjoy the meet, maybe you can toast Liz with a glass of the chilled stuff .

I am not feeling so great and I dont think AnneTh is either.
It is so difficult to organise with us all on different treatments, cycles etc.
I guess Friday eve or even Sat morning is going to be the earliest we could do a head count.

So sorry to hear that so many of you are feeling rough just now. I am ok BC wise but shattered from doing too much work. I suppose BC has impacted on my fittness levels and I am working 4 days instead of 2 plus back on the wine which I know not only makes me fat, but tired!
Welcome to the newbies. I have made some very good friends on here. Sharing the ‘stuff’ with others really keeps me sane.
Can’t make 13th as have to babysit. My daughter has to work as she is skint. Life is pretty tough for her just now so she has to be my priority. I am gutted I can’t get there though.
Don’t think Ruth has booked anywhere, she was thinking you could meet at an arranged time and place then go to a place ad hock.
I don’t come on here very often now but still want to keep in touch, so I will be PM ing folks with my phone and email address so I don’t lose touch. So much can happen from one week to another.

Same re coming on here, though been on for a while tonight, and it’s silly o’clock! Still hope to be down on 11th or poss 4th. May even be down sooner as my sister is not too good, she had a fall today, outside getting an ice cream I believe. I will be ringing her tomorrow to see how she is. I know she is very frail now and triping up is so dangerous as her skin splits easily and then doesn’t heal (due to steroids I believe)
I’m away from 22nd and will want to see Judy before I go but think that will be a flying visit on the 21st.
It’s gone very quiet on here, hope folk are ok, thinking of you all.

Update re dates. Sorry but can’t make 4th as my poorly sis in law is visiting us for a relaxing break (we live in the country). 11th also out as had forgotten I am doing some private tutoring that day. So looks like I wont make the next meet again, gutted. I will be down on a weekday to Ormskirk area to see my sis but wont be staying over. Count me out, but have a good meet.

I’ve had one shit day, sorry moderater, I keep swearing but thats how I feel today. My sister died this am after her battle with pancreatic cancer. She was brave, strong and a fighter. She was never free from pain, even in the hospice.
Ontop of this my OH is a total bas***d, even today. So what do I need, apart from a divorce, I need a meet up with you lovely Liverpool gang. Haven’t seen you lot for so long. Anyone up for a meeting soon? Alls gone quite on here.
