Hello
I had ductal carcinoma and DCIS of my right breast in 2007. I had a mastectomy and lymph node sampling. I am on tamoxifen and had FEC chemo. I am BRCA -ve. I now have yearly mammograms and MRI’s as I was 35 when diagnosed and deemed high risk. I had my yearly mammogram a couple of weeks ago and was relieved to here there were no signs of breast cancer in my breast. I then had my MRI scan. There was a problem administering the gadolinium and I ended up having a double dose this led the pictures to not be diagnostic quality but the radiographer did report a very small lump in my left breast. I am now left very anxious. I am having a repeat MRI on monday and then hopefully to see my oncologist on Thursday. Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have any advice?
Thank you
Chris
