New lump

Hi

I noticed when i crossed my arms it felt like i had a bruise on my breast so i had a feel and felt a lump but very sore to touch 

I went to the doctors and she said with my guidance she could feel a lump and refered me to the breast clinic.My app is in 2 days time

I asked the doctor if i should still go to the clinic if the lump goes and she said

quite flippent “oh this wont go” which made me really worried as my cousin is suffering from breast cancer at the moment and she is the same age as me

Today the tenderness has gone but i think i can still feel a lump but not sure

do people think i should still go dont want to waste the doctors and nurses time

Hiya, The answer from us here who have been though breast cancer is always going to be yes absolutely go to the clinic and get it checked out, something is going on and you really won’t rest until you know what it is, you are not wasting anyone’s time! Well I had my app this morning after a mammogram and ultrasound all is clear it’s just inflamed breast tissue such a relief thank you for everyone’s comments on here and I wish you all a healthy And happy Christmas xxx
