Hi. I had a lumpectomy in July and mastectomy with immediate recon on 5th Oct. I had swelling recently redness. Had 3 weeks of antibiotics and it’s gone down although patches of redness still. Surgeon thinks it’s skin flare due to strattice. I went back to hozzy today and I got ultrasound to check for fluid…none. but they found a dark mass near my lumpectomy scar and lymphnode inflammation. Had two lots of biopsies and now v frightened. They can’t tell what it is but he thinks it’s scar tissue and not surprised about node do to recent surgeries. My sentinel nodes were all clear from my operation but still worried that cancer cud of got passes and into other nodes.
