New member - Lost my mum to secondary breast cancer 10 months ago

Hi all,

I’m new to the forum and really just seeking an outlet and people in a similar situation.

My mum was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011 and had a mastectomy within days. Last January(2014) she was given the ‘all clear’, but in early February we knew something was wrong when she had a horrible pain in her left side. We were passed from pillar to post and it was eventually established in March that the cancer had spread to her liver. Sadly, she lost her battle within six weeks.

I’m 24 and struggling to come to terms with her death, even though I seem to be getting along just fine - to the rest of the world.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
