Hi everybody
I was today sent a link to a new American journal - ‘journal of cancer survivorship’ - if you can get past the title (!) then there are some really interesting articles in there this issue - one on chemobrain - the link is

Hope you find it interesting! I know I did as I have always contended that my brain functioning has been affected by my treatment. It is 2 years since I finished chemo and I am still nowhere near as sharp as I was before treatment!

At last an acknowledgement of chemo brains existance long after treatment has finished. I certainly still have it over a year on after chemo and it has definetely altered my quality of life in many ways. Some of the ways described in the article I could really relate to. Thanks Pauline

I am nearly 2 1/2 years post chemo and over a year post Herceptin and my memory is not nearly as good as it was. I used to remember everything to the point that other people relied on me, now I have to be reminded of people’s names and I am constantly writing things down.
I take Ginko Biloba every day and that is helping a bit with my concentration.
