New to forum
New to forum Hi I’m new here, although I was diagnosed last May.
I’m 41yrs old and married to Jon and we have a 13mth old son called Jack.
I was diagnosed with metastatis breast cancer on 31 May 2006 and it was such a shock as our son was only 10weeks old and I thought my life was perfect!!
I have had chemo, lumpectomy, radiotherapy and am now on Tamoxifen.
looking forward to ‘meeting’ you all and offering support and advice as well as receiving some myself.

Hello Clare and nice to meet you
I’m 42 now and was diagnosed last August, just finished my main treatment and have been on Arimidex since January - though currently stopped them due to horrendous side effects.
As Jan has already said this site is great and everyone is very supportive and friendly.
Take care
Love Lynn x

Hi Clare I’m also new to the site, although had a mastectomy in 2003, no cancer in lymph nodes so didn’t have to have chemo . Went really well for 3 years then in 2006 they found a malignant tumour near my brain. Had a major op a year ago next week, then chemo and am coming along nicely now.
I really see life in a different way now, my priorities are so much different and although I still get pains in the scar area of the skull and pains from the recon that I have just had redone, I feel very content that I have got through it all and gone out the other side a much stronger person.
Oh I’m 59 and live in South Africa, but originate from Gloucestershire. Love Roz xx
