This is my first post. I found a lump just to the side of my left nipple whilst showering on Sunday. Its a little larger that a pea but is very firm and round, it also has discoloured the skin above it a reddish shade. I mentioned it to somebody in work today and she was horrified that I haven’t been to the dr. I started on HRT 3 weeks ago and have got to go back to see the Dr in 4 weeks to see how I am getting on. Do you think I should wait this time or should I make an appointment sooner?
Hi Claire, I would go and get yourself checked out, any breast lump can be potential cancer so no sense in waiting ,the sooner you are seen the sooner you can hopefully be given the all clear, of course we don’t all get good news but early detection is the key , please let us know how you get on Xx Jo
I’m sure it’s probably nothing but I would definitely go to the doctor to find out for sure xx
