I have copied this post into this forum for user superjem hoping she’ll get more replies than in the ‘In your Area’ forum.

I am 28 and have just been diagnosed and am having treatment at Bath RUH. Booked in for an op on 10th June. Anyone else in a similar position?

Hi Superjem
I’m so sorry you had to join us, but you’re in the best place for advice and support. I had my surgery in Oct last year and have just completed all my treatment. It’s not pleasant but it’s doable. All of us here understand what its like to go thru treatment so ask anything you like. It’s also a great place to rant and rave and let off steam!
Please keep us posted and if you prefer you can always pm me
Take care

Hi Superjen
Im new to the site and was diagnosed on Thursday , i live in Dorset- all i know at present is that my cancer is hormone positive and that i will have the lump and lymph nodes removed on tuesday 8th! its quite scary not knowing whts happening after that ! They have said because of my age i will have both chemo and radio therapy and have to take tamolxin ( not sure if thats correct spelling) for 5 years after , i have no children at present so that part was just as hard being told! I want to be positive and maybe not look into things too deeply until i reach each stage but also wanted to join something like this to chat to other people about what its like to go through! Looks like our ops are a couple of days apart, do youknow exactly what you are having done? i hope all goes well for you xx
