Newly diagnosed

Hi I’m 33 weeks pregnant and 31 years old been told I have bc which is pregnancy induced so slightly more aggressive,
I’ve got pains in my arms which had for few months just random aching pains, I serverly anemic so convinced my self it has spread to my bones I’m petrified like I’ve never felt before
Ive had a gastric bypass in past and was always anemic anyway but I’m literally petrified anyone else been there?

Hi Shep,
First of all welcome to the forum, although so sorry to see you here, especially at this time.
There are certainly others here who have been in your position & you’re not alone in this.
The anxiety when first diagnosed is the pits & although horrible, it is normal to feel the way you do.
Honestly, it does get better when the shock of diagnosis subsides & you get your treatment plan. BC treatment is excellent now & has some of the best outcomes out there.
Do come & chat or vent whenever you want to, there’s loads of support here.
Sending hugs

Hi Shep, so sorry you find yourself here. BC is very treatable, even when pregnant, and the success rates are excellent. There are a few other ladies on here who have been diagnosed when pregnant , and I’m sure they’ll be along to help you. Being anaemic sounds scary at this time, but I’m sure the medics will know just what you need. Sending a big hug . X

Hi Shep…just dropped by to wish you all the best on this journey, tough though it may be.  But you will come out the other side, with a beautiful baby to love and live for xxxx

Having my baby today at 33 weeks, then breast off next week. I’m so so scared in case this is it for me, my mind can hear the dr saying it to me , I’m petrified , so many emotions. Did anyone else feel like this?
