Newly diagnosised help

I’m afraid it does get you like that from time to time Trace.Every now and again the enormity of this thing hits you and you realise life will never be quite the same again.I guess we all have to find a way to not let it dominate and spoil our lives, put it in a locked box in our minds and try to keep it contained !!!Jill

Yes ,stay positive and "you are strong " not helpful…

Thanks Blossomhill and Jill1998 good to know my feelings are not just selfish ones and letting it all out is ok not weak, really appreciate the support and understanding.I am going to fight this with all my being and I too hope to wake not thinking about it…one day as I hope we all will…xx

You will definitely get to the point where it doesn’t dominate your every waking moment, but I think we all still have moments when we think “oh my God”,people who haven’t been through it really can’t understand however hard they try and yes, once the op is over people think you are “all better”,but it’s really not as simple as that line you say Trace.

Thanks Jill1998. X

Thanks Jobey68 it’s good that I know my feelings are normal.I wish you luck for your checkup.x
