Hiya I am 2 weeks and 4 days out from single mastectomy and I had a skin sparing/nipple sparing one I wanted to ask anyone else in the same situation how long did it take your nipple to heal? I had it put back on as a graft and it’s all scabby I can see pinkness underneath so it looks like it’s taking I’m going on holiday in 2 weeks I will be so upset if I can’t swim.
I also got my pathology results today I had large scale dcis with 3 invasive tumours all tiny less than 2mm and one lymph node was positive he said he wanted me back into surgery to get more clearance on the nodes even tho 2 of them tested negative do you know why they do this? Does this sound good all things considered. anyone else in a similar situation I am only 33 and starting egg collection tommorow which I am worried about as my cancer is estrogen positive and all the IVF drugs are all estrogen fuelled
Uugh such a lot to deal with trying to be strong
