I had a wide local excision and bilateral breast reduction last summer followed by radiotherapy which finished in early October. I have had occasional nipple sensation, but most of the time it is minimal. I understand it can take up to 2 years for sensation to return, but have never heard of it being intermittent before. Has anyone else had this experience and does anyone know the reason for this?
