Hi,
I hade a WLE and SNB on 13th Nov and everything went well except I will need chemo and RD. The scars have healed and I have no problems except for extreme nipple sensitivity. Can anyone recommend any cream for this-I wondered if there was anything for nursing mothers but can’t seem to find anything.
best wishes
Karon
Hi Karon. I am having rads at the moment, and my nipple is a bit sore. I find that aqueous cream helps, and it’s not too expensive.
Hi Karon -
Know what you mean about the sensitivity - I jump whenever anyone comes near - my husband’s not amused to say the least!
I hadn’t considered getting anything for myself but I went to Boots the other day to get something for my daughter who is expecting at any day and planning to breast feed - they have a choice of two sprays for less than £5.00 each - try along the shelves in the Baby Dept.
Good Luck

Hi Karon,
I had a lumpectomy in July and am undergoing chemo to be followed by radiotherapy. Had a really sensitive nipple and went to my doc who prescribed amitryptiline, dose to be decided by myself to see how I got on with it. I find I can manage with just 10mg every other day and it helps me sleep. Hope this helps

Thank-you for your help.
I’ll ty the Boots nipple cream to start with and see how we go.
Hopefully the sensitivity will decrease soon.
