Hi everyone, just a bit concerned and hope it’s just my body in shock but I havent had my period since my op five weeks ago! Start chemo next week. Cant be pregnant as hubby has had ‘the chop’. I’m 37 years old so not the menopause (yet). Not taking any other drugs. Anyone had any similar experiences.

i’d chat to my breastcare nurse but, in my experience surgery either delays a period by ages or brings one on early!

Just thought I’d let you that I was the same. Had surgery beginning of July and didn’t have a period until after 9 weeks. In fact I even did a pregnancy test before I started chemo. My breast care nurse told me that it was probably the shock and surgery causing the delay. I thought my periods would stop whilst having chemo- but oh no so far they have continued but I am only on cycle 3.
