Goodness!? I think it was so much braver going for the clippers than trying the cold cap! At least it will be so much easier if you do shed now, not as a dramatic loss. I think if it feels how it did last time then I am going to have to tap out it was just too painful, but the nurses think that maybe I need to go for a larger size and that will help. I really hope so!

Hi, to obtain the best results from the cold cap you need to have a tight fit. I found the first time I used the cold cap was the worst as I was anxious about the chemo and I didn’t know what to expect from the cold cap.I think anxiety lowered my pain tolerance. I took a blanket with me to keep warm whilst using the cold cap. It’s short term pain for long term gain but it wasn’t a pleasant experience. I wish you well with the rest of your treatment.
