Not sure where to post this!
Not sure where to post this! I posted a couple of weeks ago on this site saying that I had already had a mastecomy and that a lump had appeared on the scar. I underwent a biopsy which indicated cancer cells and required lump removed. Fortunately it was a necrosis. The nurse phoned saying that the biopsy mimicked cancer cells and that everything was ok which I was delighted about . Has anyone else heard of this.
I have been recently experiencing hip pain which has gradually worsened over the last couple of weeks but I feel I do not want to make a fuss about as they said that my blood tests were ok. I do not know whether I am being paranoid or not?

Maddy do make a fuss about this!
Hormonals are notorious for joint pain and hip pain is likely to be be osteo athritis- but this needs to be checked as it can also be bone mets.
So push your onc for a bone scan/MRI since bone mets and OA can both be active together.
Hormonals also cause osteoporosis so you may need bisphosphonates to counteract it.
Getting checked will set your mind at rest and get treatment for whatever the culprit is. best wishes, dilly
From the time of your post its obvious this is causing you worry.Contact the breast nurse today and ask for a bone scan or to be seen and then you can relax. We all get the paranoia-see my recent posts! However when its checked out you can move on.At worst case scenario by being seen early you can be treated quickly so its win win situation.Make that call!thinking of you love sharonx
