Not the News I wanted
Not the News I wanted Have posted this somewhere else - sorry girls …
Many thanks for all your messages and best wishes.
Have just got back from the consultant and he is pretty sure I have secondaries in the lungs…not what I wanted to hear…so I am off to the Secondary Breast Cancer forum…Breast surgery is off and chemo is to start very soon.
I will pop back here regularly to see how you are all getting on.
Good luck to you all…
LOL

Heather Hi Heather
So sorry to hear that.
Sending you lots of love, and wish you lived nearer so I could give you a big hug too !
Let us know how you get on!
Love Julie xx
Thanks Julie Thanks Julie - funny enough, this is the only time I haven’t left the consultant’s surgery in tears…think I am in total shock…
Can’t wait to get chemo started to see if we can shrink the lung mets…I really want to stay around for my lovely children…
Big hugs back - and keep posting so I know how you are doing.
Much love
Heather

Hi Heather!! Great to meet you today Heather…and really sorry that your news wasn’t as good as you wanted.
Hopefully the chemo will zap the nodules to kingdom come, and I’m sure that with a personality as big as yours you will certainly be around for a very long time yet!
Love
Dee

(Julie…Heather gives lovely hugs, I was lucky enough to get one today)!!
So sorry the news wasn’t good. I hope you get the support you need from the secondary breast cancer forum, they are a very helpful and positive lot.
I know you will be strong for your kids, and I wish you the best of luck in the future.
Love Irene
For Dee It was good to meet you too. It did give me a lift and we did have a few laughs…
Just have to come to terms with the future and the treatment I need. I am looking out holistic therapies as well to run alongside the chemo - we will tap dance!!
Will be thinking of you on Wednesday -
Much love
Heather

Thinking of you ! Hi Heather
Just wondered how you are doing ? I’m due for a bone scan, chest x-ray and CT scan next week too (as well as hopefully starting chemo on Friday) so am feeling as anxious as I’m sure you were/are ! Horrible isnt it ?
Anyway, I’m in for an op on Monday but will post maybe later in the week to let you know how its going.
Let me know how your week goes too, and take care.
Love Julie

Hi Heather
Sorry to hear your news. On a positive note, I know a lady (older than you) and she had lung ca (a very big tumour) and they gave her some tablets and in 1 month her tumour had shunk in half, last time I saw her she said that it hardly showed on test results. All I can say is that it is amazing what is available to us all now and I hope this has helped.
