Morning despite being given pills to help me sleep still only averaging 2 hours they help me fall asleep but don’t keep me asleep if that makes sense. Appointment letter came yesterday I got the day wrong going in Wednesday for wire fitting then lumpectomy on Thursday. At my consultation last Friday was told a cancer nurse would contact me Monday to arrange to come and talk to me but I’ve heard nothing feeling a bit ignored ? My assigned nurse is on holiday so a different one was going to contact me. Should I try and contact them or just forget it
The breast nurses can be a bit hit and miss ,some are great ,some never return your calls unless you chase them,I think they are very over worked.Do you have specific questions you want answering or do you just to check in with someone ? If you have medical questions you could ask the nurses on this site .

I rang the nurses only to find I had given them the wrong number duh head wreck l they were lovely and so positive they answered all my questions and sent me some literature to read and an exercise chart. They left me feeling so positive going in tomoz and all positivity has left me I’m a complete wreck can’t wait for it all to be over
