Hi lady bowler All your additional knowledge and experience tips will be very welcome to us all please, we already are lucky enough to have the May girls guiding us on the chemo train ??shi xx

H x
Lovely thanks lady bowler, girls lady bowler is a community champion who’s shared her experience below with us and if your diagnosis matches any of her experience would be very good help as a lady who has done the whole choo choo train journey ???thanks again lady bowler and admiration for completing the journey, it’s onevheck of a ride as you know???shi xx
Ooh thanks for that recipe really stupid question though! Where do you get all the oils from!? ?
I fancy making some of that I will permanently carry that around when I’m out and about to ward off the germs ?
Hoping you are all OK this evening, and coping with your SE my fellow July ladies seem really quiet today so I’ve been popping over to my new mates from may thread and you lovely newbies over here thanks to Shi
Hi mishy Holland & Barrett ?the May girls all have it too because when mai7 and I met when she was finishing chemo and it was my 1st (I thank God for her all the time, she took me under her wing and introduced me to May ladies who are all amazingly kind and wonderful too) already had some and they all swear by it, so hopefully we keep cold awayyyyy please while on the chemo train, smells great tho and the nurse when I was in casa nhs loved it and took the recipe off me too as she wanted it for her house too???so bonus keeps nasties away and smells yum ???shi xx
I know I’m a bit late but I am going to order myself some oils be good to have any as I’m sure our immune systems will take a little longer to recover anyway I’m not long for finishing chemo now one more round to go and yes the ladies on may thread are fab tatanya is from the July thread too who are all equally lovely xx we can all support each other through our journeys chemo ops rads it’s a great forum considering I’ve never used one before and not even on Facebook ?? my kids say I should get with the times but I am 46 hahaha I swear I think my skin is the best it’s been in years! So that’s one good thing to come out of chemo!!!
Mishy, if I’d not met mai7 on my first chemo and if she’d not taken me under her wing and been the amazing kind brilliant lady she is, I would not have managed without her or anyone else with this chemo train, I was clinging onto the back of it as it took off on my 1st round landing me at casa nhs for 6 days, you all got me through that and knowing that we can all be there for each other all day and night long is like us all having this big snuggly duvet of love and support that only we can share with each other isnt it, I’ve never discussed ???habits with life long friends, but within a few posts on here we are all like, way hayyyy, everything out the window and away we go, who was it that mentioned the nitted titties the other day, some of the Oct girls who have yet to have mastectomy could find that s usegul opion when the time comes???much love to everyone shi xx
Just screen shot the ‘potion’ so I can check out ingredients x
Thanks shi x
You are very welcome sue, I don’t know if it works or not but there is a lot giving it a go and think most of the May ladies have it, so anything’s worth a try to keep any nasties away isn’t it ?shi xx
I’ve heard of thieves oil but never seen it to buy, so thanks for the recipe Shi. ????
Blimey ladies, you have been busy today! It’s taken me ages to catch up on the chat.
I’m 39 and generally go by K. I’ve had a lumpectomy and SNB. I’m doing chemo, then possibly more surgery to remove the remaining nodes (traces were found in one node so they are discussing a full node clearance), then rads, then tamoxifen.
I’m weakly er+, pr+ and her- . They did an oncotype test but then disregarded it as my er wasn’t positive in the sample sent off!!! (I still don’t quite understand that). I’m not working as I’m on maternity leave at the mo (not quite how I’d envisaged it tbh!). I love my essential oils too but I’m being cautious and not using any until the little one is 6 months old. Phew!
Best wishes to everyone this evening xx
Thank you Sue, I really didn’t realise how lucky we were here and how fab our friends and family are. Plenty of naps all round ?
K I have had lumoectomy and Snb pretty starting chemo I had 1 node positive my surgeon removed 5 I didn’t require further surgery when I’m done my chemo I’m having rads I’m TNeg really admire you going through this with a lovely little one to look after I hope you are getting all the ? and support to help you through this
Yeah Shi your right about bring able to share ??? with people who we have never even met before it’s been a great help to me I know definitely like you have said when going through tough times these ladies have lifted me up ??? all stars ??
Hi jencat, are you on fec? I didn’t notice sweet smell? Has all your tizer pee gone now? Mention it at your next onc. K you truly are superwoman on this train with us and nursing a 6 month old???extra love and sparkles. Jencat 60 is the new 40 I keep hearing that saying all the time, anyone else hear that one too so 58 not old at all jencat ??shi xx
Thats Ruth, jencat, mishy18 and me in the tn seats in our chemo choo choo then for now, table seats so we can put the champers on the tables for when we are all through the journey ???shi xx
Hi K, gosh that sounds Tough! Good job you have good support round you. I’ve found that sometimes it comes from surprising places. Sending you some of Cassie’s ???hugs and Shi’s sparkles ????
Jencat, glad you’re doing ok and snoozing when you need to.
Mishy, nice to hear from those further on in their journey, so many of us on here have never posted on a forum or used Facebook either! So you’re not alone in that either!
Ha ha Shi, you really made me chuckle you crazy ? lady!
Thank you Mishy, Meesh and Shi x My little one’s only 8 weeks old so thankfully doesn’t know any different and is still wonderfully easy at this age ?And of course everyone wants an excuse for a cuddle ?
I’m intrigued that you don’t need a full node clearance Mishy, it was my surgeon who said it’d happen and then my oncologist who couldn’t understand why it was necessary if I’m doing chemo and rads to blitz it all. I’ll let them fight it out and keep asking all the questions!
Loving the ? and ladies xx
Real dom perignon not our anti sickness donperidone ???xx
