I’m so sorry to read this @loupy Like the others have said massive well done you on getting on it straight away and so pleased they’re pushing this through quickly and you aren’t going to have to wait too long for the results. If you didn’t have that drink last night defo have one tonight! We’re all behind you. Sending a huge hug xx
@tessie86 good luck on your last chemo today! Hope you get to ring that bell loud and proud! x
Thank you all! I have had my Zoledex and phesgo injections and waiting half an hour for my LAST CHEMO and confirmed they are removing the PICC line today! Celebration nap and bath later I think
and defo a bell ring! They confirmed there isn’t one on the ward which is so understandable but there’s two downstairs
so mum will be filming that!
Thank you Tessie , I think I’m gonna need to soon , the shower was the worst part as I didn’t expect to lose so much at the one time
can I ask how are you finding the doce compared to the ec ? I’ve my last ec at end of month and I’m overly anxious about the docetaxal x
@bird25 some people fine the EC harder and others the Docetaxel harder, i found the Docetaxel harder but the injections are harder for me now with the bone pain but got good pain meds now
just keep telling your on oncologist your side effects and they medicated you right up ![]()
@tessie86 good luck with the last chemo. Enjoy your celebratory bath. I am so looking forward to that when it comes. Ring that bell! A lady rang the bell at my chemo yesterday. She was really emotional and it set me off. The bell is down the corridor so you can’t hear it on ward but the nurses were all rallying around to congratulate her and lots of hugs. It was lovely to see it celebrated.
I am now half way through the weekly paclitaxel. 6 to go. I have set a countdown page on my phone. 40 days ,23 hours to go. Not feeling to bad today but I have a call with the breast cancer now someone like me service this afternoon to talk to someone to help me with my surgery decisions. I get tearful every time I talk about it. I expect the volunteers are used to that.
@tessie86 Whoo Hoo welcome to the thank fuck that’s finished gang! ![]()

The non hrt treatment I got for hot flashes and night sweats works.
‘Clonidine’ medication is for bladder issues but found a secondary effect is stopping the hideous sweats of menopause natural or medical. Taking it since Monday - worked almost immediately. 2.5mg am /pm.
There is support ladies, hormone positive cancer will not continue to make our lives miserable. ![]()

I’m feeling strangely positive today
my surgeon rang he’s put my surgery back one week to allow for test results and a CT scan - I’m now at the who cares stage, there’s nothing I can do just got to live while I’m waiting!
Have however been researching meal plans and foods as might try that too!
Lots of love to all ![]()
Look at that joy on your face!!! ![]()
