That’s a mad number of appointments in one week @tessie86! Are you working as well? Hugs for you, I’m not surprised you are feeling overwhelmed, no time to draw breath this week, then straight into Kadcyla after RT xxx
Yep working this week. I mean luckily like tomorrow for instance I have:
8am - Radio
8:30 - Implant
9am - Nose specialist (side effect from Docetaxel)
And then Ill be at my desk by about 10:30am until 5pm.
So the appointments are all nice and close together and over and done with nice and early.

Crikey @tessie86 thats a lot of appointments! And a lot to cope with together with work as well! I do think we all came together to get through chemo which was physically demanding the rest of the shit show is mentally so so tough x

How’s this for mental torture - hospital number comes up on my phone, I think oh they’re ringing to cancel today as results not back, surprised to hear my breast surgeons voice, I could feel my heart beating thought in that second that maybe it was good news and I didn’t need to go in…..nope 
can I go in earlier as he’s just off to the MDT meeting to discuss me and needs me to have a longer appointment I just said yes and then broke down…….

@tessie86 I’m exhausted just reading this, but yes I guess it’s good they are at least close together. Remember, if it all feels too much , work will understand if you need to take some time out. I reckon they all think you’re incredible for the amount you do already xx

Hi ladies thank you for all the support (as always 
) so my little lump on my shitty-no-titty is cancerous it’s metastasis the margins from my mastectomy were clear so this is a new growth!
My consultant was lovely and said they had a long debate in the MDT about what to do, he wants to operate and get it out, oncology want to see if the remaining radiotherapy makes any difference and start me on abemaciclib as soon as radiotherapy finishes, do CT scan to check it and then do the op if it is still there….
Not sure how I feel at the moment but thank you all for being there for me x x

Bloody hell @loupy I’m so sorry and how scary! Gosh, even having a mastectomy with clear margins doesn’t mean we are safe. I really hope you get an agreed way forwards very soon so you know what’s what. I’ll be thinking of you as I know everyone on here will be xx

Your surgeon seems to be on the ball. Do you have a choice or are they telling you? What a head scramble. Massive squidge hug

No choice at the moment @lumpybyebye but back to see surgeon in two weeks he’s keeping a handle on the situation- we got the feel that he had been over ruled but who knows what goes on in the MDT….
And this will make you smile, my consultant got the doctor I saw who said it was scar tissue to come in and apologise - that wasn’t awkward at all

Thank you @nib32 @Mairead_49 i know they would understand, but I feel like im taking the mick with the amount of appointments I have, but thats me always having a guilty conscience. I do have a nice 4 day break away at an airbnb with a hot tub in Wales at the end of the month, can’t wait to escape for a few days, so needed!

@loupy we’re all here in whatever capacity you want. This is utterly shit news, but hopefully your onco team will work around it and get you sorted. I’m struggling to think of anything better to say. What I have said is woefully inadequate. Sending you so much love though. xxx
