I didn’t know about this, it’s an hour on the train for me so not too far to London. I’ll have a look into it ![]()

Just incase x
I understand - i was 38 when diagnosed and am 39 too. So pleased that your colleagues have been supportive, i think mine struggle a bit and that no one really knows what to do or say. X
@sbee so true, they think if they say something you will just cry, but sometimes I just find it easier to talk about it.
I agree. Thing is … now i have hair and eyelashes it feels like everyone has forgotten and thinks i am “fine”…
Holy mother of God! Baby oil reaction !!!
Had a sore scalp yesterday which got worse overnight. Had a shower and popped on some baby oil as I’ve done previously. Oh my God. Rang emergency number … double antihistamine and hubby has gone out for calamine lotion.
Warning to all skin changes rapidly between treatments … what was fine last round is literally burning my head this round. My head is red raw with mounds popping up everywhere. The itching is off the scale.
Let my wee noggin be a warning. Use super sensitive creams only. Even more gentle than J&Js. I’m using emollient based only from now on.
Oh bless you. Apparently moo goo is very good for chemo scalp. Sold by cancer research uk amongst others, oncologist endorsed etc.
I’m using their shampoo and conditioner and it’s very gentle, hair feels lovely- will probably carry on using it post chemo too.
As a lifelong eczema sufferer, you have my sympathy- itching is so hard to ignore. Hope it eases soon xx
Omg @lumpybyebye I can’t believe baby oil has done that!
I second moogoo shampoo and conditioner but I wouldn’t have thought baby oil would be an issue!
Thank you for sharing the warning! - hope it calms down soon for you! Bloody hell the stuff we have to cope with ![]()
