Sorry I didn’t post yesterday to let you know what happened but by time my partner and I got home we were a bit squiffy because we had been CELEBRATING!!!
I had a massive lump on the left side and when they did the mammogram and ultrasound they found another one on the right side which neither me or the consultant could feel.
They drained the lumps which confirmed that they were cysts and the fluid was clear and, therefore, no need to send it for analysis.
My partner and the staff were all wonderful. My partner and I both shed a few tears while we were waiting to have the mammo and ultrasound done but they turned into tears of happiness later when I was told that I was off the hook!!
I’ve been discharged from the clinic now.
I cannot thank everyone enough for your kind words, advice and support. It really helped me through.
My partner also wants to say thank you to you all for supporting me as well.
I would also like to say thank you to the nurse that I spoke to on the helpline here, she was very calming and kind and answered all my questions.
My partner and I are going to spend the day cooking some yummy food for later and have got a couple of bottles of red wine to go with that and then going to snuggle up on the sofa and watch a movie.
Hi Debs
I posted on the other thread also, but just in case you don’t read it, that’s marvellous news. I’m delighted for you - and your partner. Enjoy your celebrations and a life with a bit less stress.

Eeeh! That’s grand! It is SO lovely to get such good news for a change and confirmation that many lumps are benign. (Sometimes being on here, it’s hard to believe that 9 out of 10 referals turn out NOT to be cancer!)
