well - 8 weeks running - and with live chat i either get thrown out after a few minutes or i cant get in at all . …Couldn’t get in at all tonight - i was told i was already signed in …I dont get any emotional support through hospital … and not a lot from family …and now i feel i can not afford to try any more on live chat as it was a good ( and only) source of support. so many thanks to the people who have responded to me but now i cant get in at all - just got a blank screen - last week was thrown out ( in the nmidle of a good chat) and people just thought i had gone quiet… my screen was blank …and ditto for the last couple of months . I use this laptop set up every day for work - e-mail, conference calls etc - never any problems so dont think its this computor - but i have looked forward to this chat so often , only to be disappointed … have asked moderators to look nto it for me but never got a reply… jayne
Hi Jayne, haven’t been on live chat for a couple of months now, but just read your post and tried to log in - it’s only 9.20 but it’s telling me that the room is closed! So I don’t think it’s just you and it certainly doesn’t sound as though it’s your computer.
Perhaps BCC could shed some light on what the problem is here please

Is it worth registering a different name just for live chat.
I had to do that Onnce just so I could get back in to ask them to sign me off

Please dont quit. Using a different name might be the answer.
There did seem to be a suggestion that it might be your computer, so you need to keep stressing that it isn’t.
