Hi Laura,

It is flipping cold, yes. We’ve had a mild winter so far I suppose the freezing weather had to come sometime. Ah well, it’s ironing for me today, that should warm me up!

This link may help you re fuel costs etc.

Have a good day, and keep warm and cosy. x

Hi Laura,

I was going through chemo this time last year and boy was it cold! Aside from putting the heating more than I liked, I found the following helped:

Buy a fleece blanket to snuggle up in for when sitting around the house. I also bought one as a car blanket too.

Wear lots of layers. I bought some cheap and cheerful thermal vests and they really made a difference. They made me feel like my granny tho’!

Hot water bottles are your friend! On really bad days I would have one for my feet and one to snuggle up with.

If you can manage it, lots of hot drinks.

Hiya,
The hormone treatment seems to have completely fxxxxd up my thermostat too!
Aldi are selling cheap scarves and wraps atm that are light enough to wear round the house but thick enough to be an extra layer. I got kitted out yesterday and have found them very useful today.

keep warm
