Okay I am nutty as a fruit cake now, beautifully and professionally concealed before bc diog. No longer a teacher but an artist who makes work at own pace.
I thought I would post briefly to say after finding lump dec 07, WLE and SNB jan 08 gd 2 lobular cancer, re excision feb 08, rads, tamoxifen, then arimidex(post men bleed). Had quite a number of scares, lumps, bumps, aches and pains, but so far bc not returned. I am not at all well, but for other reasons, bc is part of my past and as with anyone could come again, but it is less dominant in my thinking than it was.

Thanks so much for sharing Alice - and delighted to have such a positive message to read today when I logged on. Yes, I’ve recently “given up teaching” too and loving the range of opportunities in my life that I now mix with ongoing treatments.
