For a number of years Breast Cancer Care has run successful younger women’s forums across the UK. These two-day residential events provide up to 40 women under 45, from across the UK, with a chance to meet and share their experiences of breast cancer.
We are aware however that some people find it impossible to take the time off work to attend or have personal circumstances which make a night away impossible. Therefore we are running a one-day version of this event in Birmingham on 20 November 2010 and in London on 15th January.

You might also be interested to hear that Breast Cancer Care is piloting a new telephone support group especially aimed at younger women.
The group starts on 23 September and runs for six weeks, every Thursday, until 28 October. It takes place between 8pm - 9pm.
The group has been developed for people who have finished their initial treatment for primary breast cancer (you may still be having hormone treatment or long term Herceptin).
