Hi, despite original diagnosis being over 5 years ago this is the first time I have posted on here but I am feeling completely freaked out and I wondered if anyone could help? I just received a call from my breast care nurse to get me to go in tomorrow morning for a skin scrape of the nipple on the opposite to where I had cancer. I only saw the consultant for my regular check two days ago and mentioned that I had cahpping on that nipple. Has anyone else had this? I am so worried as to why they are acting so fast?

Hi Sue,
I know its hard but try not to worry. I personally haven’t had this b4 but from what i understand they treat everything with extra care and attention. Also from my experience they are quite quick at getting you in for further investigation.

Thank you for your message and sorry for taking so long to reply but had a few days off work which was great! I had my appointment at the hospital and what they were worried about was pagets disease but they were fantastic (Barts) and had my results back within hours and thankfully all was well.
